Testimonials

Having had McTimoney Chiropractic treatment myself in the past and for some of my dogs too, I was especially keen to find one to treat my 10-month Briard puppy Frankie, as he had qualified to enter Crufts 2024. I noticed that his movement was not exactly as free as it should be. I found Cat Ferguson who seemed to tick all my boxes, and she agreed to come and treat Frankie. Although only a few minor adjustments were made on the first visit, he was moving better. After the second treatment he was considerably better and Cat was very happy with him. I felt more confident about taking him to Crufts and was super pleased and proud that he won his class!

Cat will be treating Frankie on a few more occasions just to make sure everything is ok, as he is a big lad and growing fast! McTimoney Chiropractic Treatment is so gentle, and most importantly, it works.

Cat has treated our horse Bea twice. Today Bea achieved her best dressage score whilst competing at Skipton horse trials – a lovely calm and relaxed test. Thank you Cat for helping us keep Bea in tip top condition.

Cat has been helping my dog, who recently has been feeling stiff. Tikaani has a history of elbow dysplasia from a young age and prolonged crate rest causing some muscular issues that she needs help with. I am very grateful to Cat for taking everything at Tikaani's pace; she can be quite sensitive to touch but Cat never pushes her beyond her comfort zone, instead reading her body language and cues in order to treat her effectively and with minimal stress to Tikaani.

Cat also takes the time to explain everything to me and answers my myriad of questions multiple times and I feel content knowing that my girl is in such trustworthy and gentle hands.

Thank you Cat, for everything you do for us. Having you on board with Tikaani's care is reassuring to know that we are on top of any issues and keeping Tikaani content and comfortable. I would recommend you to anyone and encourage people to reach out to you is they suspect their pet may be experiencing discomfort due to chiropractic or soft tissue concerns.

Cat has been treating our animals regularly for a number of years now. Initially she was consulted about maintaining comfort and range of movement in the final years of my older dogs, now no longer with us, one of whom had arthritis, the other had surgery to remove two toes. Nowadays she is ensuring our next generation of three dogs is kept in good musculoskeletal order for as long as possible. She also provides regular maintenance treatments for my traditional cob, Casper, who is primarily a happy hacker but I still want to be sure he is comfortable & free from tension in his work. He always moves noticeably more freely after a treatment so I know it makes a difference.

Aside from her evident skill as a McTimoney practitioner, Cat brings a peaceful, calm, patient energy to her work with my animals to which they respond extremely well. Casper in particular can be a tricky customer some days and cannot be rushed. He tolerates the lightness of McTimoney treatment much better than some other bodywork we have tried. Cat listens closely to her owner clients but also reads her animal clients extremely well so nothing is a drama and treatment is adapted to the animal on the day.

I would not hesitate to recommend Cat whether your animal has a specific issue, or you just want to ensure they are comfortable and using their body at its best.
